1940 Fishing Map
This is an amazing genuine survivor of a 1940’s Fishing Map for the Galveston Bay Area. This map was a complimentary gift given in the 40’s and early 50s by the long been gone Mainland Company of Texas City. This was found in the Mainland Bank vault when cleaned out in the early seventies. This is one of the five original maps that were found. Own a rare piece of fishing history on the Texas Gulf Coast.

1855 Coastal Survey, Matagorda to Sabine
This is an authentic, 162 year old map showing the Progress of the United States Coastal Survey in Section No. 9, from 1818 to 1855 and is dated 1855. This beautiful early rare map of the Texas coast shows the areas from the City of Sabine, Galveston, Galveston Bay, and Matagorda Bay These maps were originally printed and bound into book form. This was done to save space and were used on early ships and sailing vessels. Antique maps like this one are becoming difficult to obtain and are quite rare. This one would look great on the wall in your office or bay house.
