Fellow fisherman, you are invited to participate in the 30th Annual J.P. Griffon Memorial Invitational Fishing Tournament.  It’s time to clean up your tackle and get ready for some of the finest fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast.

In addition to your Tournament Entry and the Trophies available in all three divisions, every amateur angler will receive:

• A JP Griffon Tournament cap and 30th Annual commemorative long sleeve, moisture wicking shirt
• A pre-Tournament Shrimp Boil on Wednesday night
• The post-Tournament Fish Fry Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Saturday night.

This year there is one rule change.

• Anglers may not leave their boat until 6:15 AM both days.

As before, all stringers may contain only two speckled trout 25 inches or longer per day.

Fishermen may enter the:

• Guided Division (Artificial lures only, *see rules for Senior exception) or the,
• Open Division (no guides, and any TPWD legal bait) or the,
• Hardware Division (no guides and artificial lures only).

Tournament fishing hours are 6:15am to 4:00pm Friday and Saturday

Don't be late to the Weigh-In.  The line closes at 5:00pm SHARP!
